Classical Chinese: 所suǒ

所suǒ

It is an auxiliary word. It can be put together with a Verb to form a noun phrase.

Ex:

欲yù ：(V) want, desire

所欲：(N) desire

Sometimes it cannot translate into English directly.

Ex:

聞wén：(V) to hear; to listen

所聞：something heard by [someone]
