Classical Chinese: 也yě

也 yě
It is an auxiliary word. It is usually put at the end of a sentence to indicate a declarative sentence.  usually doesn’t have to be translated.
EX:

叔齊,賢人也。
shú qí xián rén yě

叔齊:a Name
賢人:(N) worthy

Literally translate,
叔齊, worthy.
Figuratively translate,
叔齊is a worthy.
