也 yě
It is an auxiliary word. It is usually put at the end of a sentence to indicate a declarative sentence. 也usually doesn’t have to be translated.
EX:
| 叔齊，賢人也。 shú qí ，xián rén yě 。 | 叔齊：a Name 賢人：(N) worthy |
Literally translate,
叔齊, worthy.
Figuratively translate,
叔齊is a worthy.
